Website redesign for South Florida businesses
A redesign can be just a paint job: new colors, same slow engine underneath. We build for speed and security from the start, and we will tell you when a repair is the smarter spend.

A new look is the easy part
Swapping a theme and shuffling your homepage photos is easy. That is decoration. If the pages still crawl on a phone, visitors leave before they ever see the new paint.
We treat a redesign as a rebuild. Fast pages, clean code, current software, locked-down logins. The new look comes standard. Speed and security are the reason to do it.
Redesign or repair? The honest answer
Sometimes you do not need a redesign. If your site's bones are sound and the content works, a focused speed fix costs less and ships faster. We will say so. A smaller invoice for work you actually need beats a big one padded with work you do not.
A rebuild makes sense when the foundation is the problem. Signs you are there:
- Your theme or page builder fights every change you try to make
- The plugin pile-up is so tangled that routine updates break things
- The mobile layout buries your phone number and your buy button
- Security patches get skipped because nobody dares touch the site
- You are paying every month for features you do not use
What we keep, and what we change
A rebuild is not a bonfire. Your best content has real value. So do your links and your history with search engines. We protect those first, then cut what slows you down.
- We keep content that already works and tighten what needs it
- Your URLs stay put wherever possible, with clean redirects for anything that moves
- Your domain, email and accounts stay in your name, under your control
- We replace slow themes and bloated page builders instead of patching them
- We cut the plugin pile down to what your site actually needs
- We rebuild the mobile layout for thumbs, small screens and weak signals
How a rebuild works here
No mystery, no disappearing act. You see each step before we take it.
We test our own work the same way. The J.M. Field site was an old WordPress build where the main content showed at 10.8 seconds on a throttled mobile connection. The rebuild shows it at 1.2 seconds: same lab test, same throttled connection, 2026-10-09.
- Audit: we test your current site and find what is actually slowing it
- Plan: you get a clear scope, what stays, what goes, what it costs
- Build: we assemble the new site on a private copy while yours stays live
- Test: speed checks on a throttled mobile connection, plus every form and checkout
- Launch: redirects in place, swap to live, then we keep watching
After launch, we do not vanish
We are part of J.M. Field, a Fort Lauderdale company serving South Florida businesses since 1993. A fast site drifts slow when nobody minds it. We can host your site on our own managed servers when you need that, and set up uptime monitoring so alerts go out the moment something goes down. If you want it minded for the long haul, we offer maintenance plans.
We also run accessibility audits against WCAG and fix what we find. What we will not do is play lawyer: we never claim, certify or promise legal ADA compliance, and we never give legal advice.
Questions
Will a redesign hurt my place in search results?
Done carelessly, yes. Done right, your content and links carry over. We keep your URLs where we can and set redirects for anything that moves, so old links and bookmarks still land. Speed is one factor in search, and we do not promise positions.
Do I have to rebuild on WordPress?
No. We work on WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce and custom sites built by anyone. If your platform still fits, we keep it. If it is the reason your site is slow, we will show you before asking you to move.
Will my site go offline while you rebuild it?
No. We build the new site on a private copy, so your current site stays live the whole time. We make the swap only after speed, forms and checkout pass testing, then we keep an eye on it after launch.
Can you make my site accessible?
We audit against WCAG and fix what we find: contrast, keyboard use, alt text, form labels. We do not claim, certify or promise legal ADA compliance, and we do not give legal advice. If you need that, you need a lawyer, not a web team.
How do I know if I need a redesign or just a fix?
Start with the free speed audit. You get your 3 slowest pages and what is slowing each one, within one business day. If a repair will do the job, we will tell you.
